The MUTA Family and Friends, Please, mark your calendars and make reservations to attend the 15th Annual National Convention of the Mutual Union of the Tiv in America (MUTA) - "Omaha 2007" scheduled to hold as follows: Date(s): July 26 - July 29, 2007 Place: Doubletree Guest Suites - Omaha 7270 Cedar Street Omaha, NE 68124 Phone: (402) 397-5141 / Fax: (402) 397-1624 Suite Rates: Single occupancy: $99.00 per night / Double occupancy: $99.00 per night / Quad occupancy: $99.00 per night (if two adults and two children), $109.00 per night (if three adults and one child), and $119.00 per night (if four adults) MUTA members and guests are encouraged to make hotel reservations as soon as possible as the last day to book a room at Doubletree and receive the MUTA group rate is July 14, 2007. Reservations may be made directly with the hotel at the local number (402) 397-5141 or toll-free number 1-800-222-8733, or by contacting the hotel on-line at www.Omahasuites.doubletree.com. MUTA members and guests MUST indicate to the hotel that they are attending the "MUTA Convention" to receive the convention suite rates quoted above. Airport Information Those who are planning to travel by air should plan to arrive via Omaha's local airport which is called Eppley Airfield (OMA). The airport is the most convenient because of its proximity to the convention venue and its surroundings. Eppley Airfield is only 13.5 miles and 18 minutes away from the Doubletree Guest Suites, Omaha. Conference Registration MUTA members and guests are being afforded the early registration (a.k.a pre-registration) option to register on time and save some money through the discounts from registering early. The early registration will also help in the planning of the convention. The following are the convention registration rates: Pre- (early) Registration: Single = $50 / Family = $100 On-site Registration: Single = $60 / Family = $120 The deadline for pre-registration (early registration) is Sunday July 1, 2007.
