Dr. Aondover Augustine Tarhule is a renowned scholar and leader. He is the current President of Illinois State University. Prior to this role, he was the Vice Provost and Dean of the Graduate School at Binghamton University, State University of New York. He also worked as an Executive Associate Dean and Department Chair in the College of Atmospheric and Geographic Sciences at the University of Oklahoma. He holds a PhD in geography and a master's degree from McMaster University, Canada. Dr. Akaa Daniel Ayangeakaa is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Faculty Member at the Triangle Universities Nuclear Laboratory (TUNL) at Duke University. He received his Ph.D. in nuclear physics from the University of Notre Dame in 2013, where he studied the structure and shape of exotic nuclei using gamma-ray spectroscopy. His current research interests include nuclear structure, nuclear astrophysics, and nuclear reactions. He is also involved in developing new detectors and instrumentation for nuclear physics experiments.
