The MUTA women forum is a group of Tiv women who are passionate about empowering other women in their community. The forum organizes various programs and events to provide training, mentoring, networking and support for women who want to achieve financial independence and improve their livelihoods. The forum also reaches out to widows and orphans in the Tiv community, both in North America and in Nigeria, to offer them assistance, advocacy and solidarity. The forum's vision is to create a strong and vibrant Tiv women network that can contribute to the preservation and advancement of Tiv culture and values.
Our mission is to provide unwavering support to widows, orphans, and women of all ages through education, economic empowerment, healthcare initiatives, and advocacy. Committed to preserving the cultural heritage while championing gender equality, we strive to create a thriving environment where every woman can flourish, contributing meaningfully to a stronger, more empowered Tiv community.
We adopt a holistic approach centered on empowerment, inclusivity, and sustainable change for the Tiv community. Our approach is multi-faceted, focusing on economic empowerment through education, entrepreneurship, health, advocacy and awareness, as well as cultural preservation and community cohesion. Through this approach, we aim to create a lasting impact, enabling women to thrive, lead, & contribute positively to the growth & prosperity of the Tiv community.
