MUTA is an organization that aims to foster collaboration among its members at the local level. To achieve this, MUTA has four regions that include states that belong to each region. Each region has a Regional Vice President who is responsible for coordinating the activities of members in that region.
Comprises the states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington D.C.
The Midwest region consists of the states of Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, and Arkansas as well as Canada.
The Southeast Region comprises the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Alabama and Oklahoma.
Comprises the states of California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Hawaii and Alaska.
